Rainbow Fingers

Good morning lovelies 💜 You know at this point in my career it may seem to a lot of you that the rainbow has always been something I️ have been comfortable with and have fully embraced in my paintings. But it actually took a while for me to dive into the rainbow the way I️ have in my current works. 💖 So this #ThrowbackThursday I️ want to go back to one of the first LA paintings I️ ever did - “Rainbow Fingers”. This was the first time that I played around with the concept of a rainbow but in the most minute way. Her finger nails. And I thought it was so cool that I️ rocked that multi-coloured nail polish look for a year after I️ painted this 😘💅🌈 She also for some reason reminds me of summer and winter, like she’s in and eternal state of perfect weather. 🤔 If only am I️ right?
